Agilent Technologies has released version 6.9.1 of its Low Input Quick Amp Labeling protocol, designed for one-color microarray-based gene expression analysis. This updated version, issued in December 2015, introduces several enhancements and clarifications to the existing procedures.

The protocol is intended for use with Agilent SurePrint Technology-manufactured gene expression oligonucleotide microarrays. It covers sample preparation, labeling, hybridization, washing, scanning, and data extraction using Agilent Feature Extraction software. The material is designated for research use only and is not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Updates in version 6.9.1 include a corrected fragmentation mix table and updated quality control specifications for labeling activity. The product labeling statement has also been revised. Earlier versions, such as 6.8, have previously added lists of supported microarrays and sorted them by species.

Agilent provides supplementary video guides demonstrating SurePrint procedures. The company emphasizes adherence to safety notices and offers technical support through its website and email. Warranty terms are governed by separate agreements.
