Agilent Wins Two Scientists' Choice Awards for Drug Discovery & Development
Agilent Technologies has received two Scientists' Choice Awards in 2023, recognizing its products and presentations in the field of drug discovery and development.
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Agilent Technologies Inc. [NYSE: A] has received two Scientists' Choice Awards for 2023, earning the titles for Best New Drug Discovery & Development Product of 2022 and Drug Discovery & Development Webinar of the Year.
The award for Best Product was presented to the Agilent Seahorse XF Pro Analyzer. This instrument uses label-free sensors to measure cellular respiration and glycolysis, processes critical to cell energy metabolism. Launched in February 2022, the analyzer enhances performance and user experience, particularly for pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical development and toxicity programs.
The award for Best Webinar recognized an Agilent presentation on bispecific antibody-armed, metabolically enhanced CAR T cells for targeting solid tumors. The webinar showcased Agilent's Seahorse XF technology, xCELLigence Real Time Cell Analyzer (RTCA), and NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
The Scientists' Choice Awards honor analytical science technologies and communications deemed most innovative and effective globally. Winners are determined by votes from scientists, signifying a strong recognition within the scientific community. The awards were announced at the SLAS2023 International Conference & Exhibition in late February.
