AGILINK Robot Hand Learns Suzhou Embroidery Techniques
Chinese company AGILINK demonstrates its OmniHand 3 Ultra robot arm, trained by master Fu Xianghong in the fundamental techniques of Suzhou embroidery.

Chinese technology firm AGILINK has demonstrated its robot hand, the OmniHand 3 Ultra, learning fundamental Suzhou embroidery techniques under the guidance of master artisan Fu Xianghong. The training included actions such as separating silk threads, threading a needle, stretching fabric on an embroidery frame, and the embroidery process itself.
The OmniHand 3 Ultra is designed to handle delicate and deformable materials like silk, which require precise manipulation. The robot arm features 21 active degrees of freedom, a direct-drive architecture, and tactile sensors in its fingertips and palm, providing feedback for intricate tasks.
AGILINK, spun off from AGIBOT in January 2026, has delivered over 15,000 robotic hands to date. The company's OmniHand series also achieved significant success at the World Humanoid Robot Games in August, winning multiple medals across eight events.
The company achieved unicorn status within five months of its founding. AGILINK sees the ability to dexterously handle flexible and sensitive materials as applicable to industries including cable management and precision component assembly.
