Agilyx subsidiary GreenDot acquires 50 percent stake in French firm Léko
GreenDot, a subsidiary of Agilyx, has finalized a deal to acquire a 50 percent stake in French extended producer responsibility company Valorie SAS.
Oslo-based Agilyx ASA announced that its majority-owned holding, GreenDot, has entered into an agreement to acquire half of Valorie SAS. The French firm operates under the extended producer responsibility (EPR) framework and holds full ownership of Léko and Léko Pro, which manage packaging recycling obligations.
Under the terms of the agreement, GreenDot will share joint ownership and control of Valorie with Reclay International, a German-based environmental services provider. The transaction will be funded using existing cash reserves within the GreenDot Group, requiring no additional capital from Agilyx.
This move represents a strategic push by Agilyx to scale its European recycling platform. By partnering with a state-approved EPR organization in France, the company aims to broaden its footprint in the regional waste management market, where stricter recycling mandates continue to drive demand for compliant services.
