Agoda Appoints Idan Zalzberg as Chief Technology Officer
Online travel agency Agoda has appointed Idan Zalzberg as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Zalzberg has been with the company since 2014, progressing through various leadership roles.
Agoda, a digital travel platform, has promoted Idan Zalzberg to the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Zalzberg joined Agoda in 2014 and has since held several key leadership positions within the company, culminating in his appointment as CTO in 2022.
Previously, Zalzberg served as Agoda's Chief Data Officer, where he was instrumental in managing and architecting the company's data and security solutions. His tenure at Agoda also includes roles such as Director of Advanced Technology Architecture and Vice President.
Prior to his career at Agoda, Zalzberg co-founded Qlika, an online marketing optimization startup that was acquired by Booking Holdings Inc. in 2014. He holds a Master of Science in Physics from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from The Hebrew University.
In his new capacity, Zalzberg will oversee Agoda's technology strategy and development as the company continues to evolve its digital travel offerings.
