AGS American Glass Services Acquires Mark Industries
AGS American Glass Services, a portfolio company of The Sterling Group, has acquired Mark Industries, a commercial glazing contractor. The acquisition expands AGS's operations into the Chicago metropolitan area.
OSHKOSH, Wis. – AGS American Glass Services (AGS) has completed the acquisition of Mark Industries, a commercial glazing contractor based in Elgin, Illinois. AGS is a portfolio company of The Sterling Group.
Mark Industries provides fabrication and installation of commercial glass systems for warehouse, office, and retail buildings in the Chicago metropolitan area. Josh Cunningham, Mark's owner and President, will continue to lead the business under AGS.
The acquisition extends AGS's geographic footprint into the Chicago market and places Mark Industries in proximity to AGS's East Moline operations. This is expected to create opportunities to better serve customers across northern Illinois.
AGS, launched in July 2025 with the goal of building a leading commercial glazing and coatings platform in the Midwest, views the addition of Mark Industries as a strategic move to strengthen its market position.
