Agthia Group completes inaugural food production training program in UAE
Agthia Group and Bühler Group have concluded their first international talent development program, focusing on advanced food production skills for UAE nationals.
Agthia Group, in partnership with Swiss technology firm Bühler Group, has finished the first cycle of its international training initiative, the Agthia Academy. The program was designed to train local talent in specialized food production processes and technical operations within the UAE.
The curriculum provided participants with hands-on experience in modern food manufacturing technologies, addressing a regional need for technical expertise in the food and beverage sector. By partnering with Bühler, Agthia aimed to align its operational standards with global manufacturing practices.
This initiative marks a shift in how regional food producers manage talent pipelines amid increasing pressure to localize labor forces in technical industries. The completion of this pilot cohort suggests a broader strategy to decrease dependency on external technical expertise as the UAE expands its domestic manufacturing capabilities.
