Ahlstrom has completed an upgrade to its manufacturing line in Kingston, New York, increasing capacity for filtration media used in pharmaceutical and industrial sectors.
Ahlstrom, a producer of fiber-based materials, has finished an investment project at its facility in Kingston, New York. The focus of the expansion is Line 3, which has been upgraded to boost the output of high-performance depth filtration media.
Beyond production volume, the upgrades are intended to improve quality control and manufacturing agility. These improvements are expected to benefit clients across the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and industrial filtration markets, where stringent material standards are required.
