AI Chip Startup SiMa.ai Secures $150 Million in Funding
SiMa.ai, a US-based startup developing AI chips and software for on-device processing, has raised $150 million in a Series C funding round. The company was valued at $1.45 billion in the round, which was co-led by Fidelity Management & Research Company and Amplify.

The investment round was co-led by Fidelity Management & Research Company and Amplify, with participation from Alter Venture Partners, Dell Technologies Capital, and StepStone Group.
Founded in 2018, SiMa.ai develops technology enabling AI to run directly on devices such as robots, drones, and cameras, reducing reliance on cloud connectivity. This latest funding brings the company's total capital raised to over $500 million.
The company stated it is preparing a generative edge AI platform. Previously, SiMa.ai was valued at $960 million following an $85 million Series B round in July 2025.
SiMa.ai has also engaged in collaborations with L&T Technology Services to drive product innovation across mobility, healthcare, industrial automation, and robotics sectors, focusing on applications requiring real-time AI capabilities.
