AI Cloud Provider CoreWeave Enters India with AdaniConneX Partnership
US-based AI cloud infrastructure provider CoreWeave is entering the Indian market, planning to deploy 240 MW of data center capacity in Navi Mumbai in partnership with AdaniConneX.

US-based AI cloud infrastructure provider CoreWeave has announced its expansion into India, with plans to deploy 240 megawatts (MW) of data center capacity in Navi Mumbai. The company is partnering with AdaniConneX for this significant entry into India's rapidly growing technology sector.
The planned campus will comprise three 80 MW buildings at AdaniConneX's Taloja facility. The initial phase is expected to be operational by mid-2028, with additional capacity to be added in subsequent phases. CoreWeave will serve as the sole tenant for the three buildings and holds an option to expand capacity further at the site.
CoreWeave intends to utilize NVIDIA's Vera Rubin platform at the campus to power its AI cloud services, supporting AI training, inference, and other demanding workloads. The company also plans to establish a local office in India and hire staff to engage with customers and partners within the country's AI ecosystem.
AdaniConneX is a 50:50 joint venture between Adani Enterprises and US-based EdgeConneX. This expansion aligns with broader trends of increasing investment in India's data center and AI infrastructure, with the Adani Group having previously announced plans for substantial investments in renewable energy-powered AI data centers.
