AI Firm Moonshot AI Considers Dual Listing in Hong Kong and Shanghai
Chinese AI startup Moonshot AI is reportedly considering listing in both Hong Kong and Shanghai to raise further capital and enhance its market profile.

Chinese AI startup Moonshot AI (月之暗面) is reportedly exploring a dual listing on stock exchanges in Hong Kong and Shanghai. Sources suggest the move aims to secure additional funding and increase the company's market visibility.
The company has discussed potential IPO arrangements in Hong Kong since July and has indicated an intention to also list in mainland China following an initial offering. In Shanghai, the STAR Market (科创板), which focuses on technology companies, is considered a potential venue.
The decision to pursue a dual listing may be influenced by the sluggish performance of AI stocks in Hong Kong and a crowded listing environment. Moonshot AI has reportedly filed confidentially for a Hong Kong IPO, targeting the first quarter of 2027.
The company's business is measured by its Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), which is projected to see substantial growth. Nomura Securities estimates that Moonshot AI's ARR will reach $1 billion by the end of the year, doubling from mid-2026 projections.
