AI Infrastructure Firm Simplismart Secures $14 Million Series B

AI infrastructure startup Simplismart has closed a $14 million funding round, led by Dallas Venture Capital with contributions from NVIDIA, Accel, Shastra VC, and Micromax. The capital is designated for the development of its AI inference platform and international expansion, focusing primarily on North America.

Founded in 2022 by Amritanshu Jain and Devansh Ghatak, Simplismart provides a software layer that operates between AI models and GPU infrastructure. The platform enables enterprises to manage and scale AI deployment, optimizing for speed and cost. By providing a middleware layer, the company allows cloud providers to deliver managed AI services using existing hardware without requiring significant infrastructure ownership by the startup itself.

Simplismart employs a tiered pricing model, including shared and dedicated endpoints, alongside a 'bring-your-own-compute' option for industries with strict regulatory requirements, such as banking and finance. Currently, 55% of the company's revenue originates from the U.S., with the remainder tied to the Indian market. Its client roster includes companies such as HeyGen, InVideo, and Shiprocket.

The firm reports that its annualized revenue run rate has increased 14-fold over the last six months. This round follows a $7 million Series A investment from October 2024 and underscores the broader growth of India's AI infrastructure sector, which has recently seen significant capital allocation toward data connectivity and computing hubs.
