AI Infrastructure Platform Flatkey Raises $10 Million in Series A Funding
San Jose-based Flatkey, an AI infrastructure platform accessed via a single API key, has raised $10 million in Series A funding. Over 10,000 developers have adopted the platform in the two months since its launch.

Flatkey, an AI infrastructure platform that consolidates access to over 100 official AI models and 1,000 tools through a single API key, has secured $10 million in Series A funding. The company announced that more than 10,000 developers adopted the platform in the two months following its July 2026 launch.
The funding will be allocated towards expanding the range of official models and tools available on the platform and scaling its infrastructure. Flatkey aims to simplify development workflows by replacing the need to manage multiple provider accounts, credits, and keys with a unified system.
The platform routes all requests to the official endpoints of the respective AI providers. Flatkey claims to offer access to these models at 60-90% of their official list prices by purchasing upstream capacity in volume. This model aims to reduce costs for developers compared to direct access.
According to Flatkey founder Hunter Guo, the platform is designed as production infrastructure, facilitating the combination of various models, tools, and data. This approach addresses the increasing complexity of AI development, which is shifting from selecting individual models to integrating multiple components.
Flatkey, headquartered in San Jose, California, launched in July 2026. The company offers new users $1 in free credits to start, with further access available through pay-as-you-go credits or monthly plans.
