AI Leaderboard Arena Valued at $3.1 Billion After New Funding
Arena, a platform for comparing AI models, has raised $200 million and reached a valuation of $3.1 billion. The valuation has nearly doubled in 10 months.

Arena, the company behind the popular AI model comparison platform, announced on Thursday that it has raised $200 million in a Series B funding round, valuing the company at $3.1 billion. This represents a near doubling of its valuation from January, when it reached $1.7 billion.
The funding round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and Khosla Ventures, with participation from Salesforce Ventures, 01 Advisors, and a16z, among others. Arena stated it achieved a $100 million annual run-rate revenue in June.
Originally a research project at UC Berkeley in 2023, Arena's platform allows consumers to enter prompts and rate AI model responses. The company claims tens of millions of monthly visitors.
Last September, Arena introduced its commercial product, AI Evaluations, which provides detailed performance analytics for businesses based on community feedback. The company's rapid growth reflects increasing demand for AI model assessment tools in the industry.
