The round was co-led by Valar Equity Partners, headed by Antonio Gracias, and Atreides Management, led by Gavin Baker. Sequoia Capital, which led the company's previous Series A round, also participated.
Flow Engineering develops AI agents aimed at accelerating the hardware design process. The company's technology automatically aligns CAD drawings with product requirements, simulation results, and other testing data. This aims to make hardware iteration as fast as software development.
Customers include notable companies in the technology sector such as Anduril, Rivian, Joby Aviation, and joint ventures from General Motors and Volkswagen. The company seeks to bring the agility of software development to hardware design through AI.
Roelof Botha, a former Sequoia Capital partner, also invested personally in the company and has joined Flow Engineering's board of directors. This significant funding will support the company's continued growth and the advancement of its AI solutions for hardware design.
