AI Tools and Assistants Dominate Week's Top Startup Funding Rounds
AI-focused startups secured the largest funding rounds this week, with Instinct, a developer of AI assistants, pulling in the biggest deal. Other significant financings went to companies in business software and autonomous transport.

AI-focused startups dominated the largest U.S. startup funding rounds this week, with several significant sums raised. Instinct, a developer of AI assistants, secured the largest single financing of $250 million.
Other notable financings went to companies in areas such as business software, physical AI, and autonomous transport. However, rounds generally skewed smaller compared to recent weeks.
Instinct's $250 million Series B funding round reportedly values the company at $2.5 billion. Other large rounds included Owner, a provider of AI tools for small businesses ($240 million), and Generalist AI ($200 million), which develops AI foundation models for robots, as well as Gatik ($200 million), an operator of driverless trucks.
Companies such as Socure ($156 million), offering identity and risk management tools, Emerald AI ($150 million) for data center energy management, biotech firm AusperBio ($120 million), and Regent Craft ($120 million) developing high-speed sea gliders, also secured funding.
The top 10 largest funding rounds for U.S. startups this week were primarily concentrated in AI and its applications, reflecting the sector's continued growth and investor interest.
