Air Appoints Anuj Vohra as General Counsel Amid National Security Growth
Air, a provider of Enterprise Readiness solutions, has appointed Anuj Vohra as its General Counsel. The move comes as the company scales its platform to meet increasing demands in the national security sector.
ARLINGTON, Va. – Air, a company focused on Enterprise Readiness, has appointed Anuj Vohra to serve as its General Counsel. The appointment occurs during a period of significant growth for the company as it expands its platform to address escalating demands within the national security sector.
Under CEO Tara Murphy Dougherty, Air has established a substantial customer base across federal government agencies and all military branches. Having achieved unicorn status in 2025, the company is concentrating on maturing its internal operations alongside its expansion. Air was recently ranked 18th on the 2026 NatSec100 list, recognizing venture-backed companies driving innovation in defense and dual-use technology.
In his role as General Counsel, Vohra will oversee Air's corporate legal affairs, encompassing governance, compliance, and government contracts. His responsibilities include ensuring the company's internal frameworks are optimized to support rapid scaling and technological advancement. Vohra brings over two decades of legal experience, specializing in complex federal procurement laws, government investigations, and commercial disputes within the defense and technology industries.

Vohra joins Air from Crowell & Moring LLP, where he served as a partner in the Government Contracts practice. Previously, he held a position as Special Counsel at Covington & Burling and worked as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, handling procurement disputes. He holds a law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law.
