Net profit attributable to parent company shareholders stood at €2.24 billion, marking a 47% improvement year-over-year. Revenue also demonstrated strong growth, climbing 12% to €33.18 billion. Free cash flow, however, was negative at -€1.04 billion.
Commercial aircraft revenue grew by 15%, defense and space revenue rose by 9%, while helicopter revenue remained largely flat. The company also highlighted its order book, with net orders for commercial aircraft increasing by 104% to 821 aircraft. As of the end of June 2026, the backlog for commercial aircraft stood at 9,222 units.
Airbus is continuing to ramp up its production capacity. The A220 program aims for a monthly production rate of 13 aircraft by 2028, and the A320 family targets a rate of 70-75 aircraft per month by the end of 2027. The company reaffirmed its 2026 guidance, expecting to deliver approximately 870 commercial aircraft and achieve an adjusted EBIT of around €7.5 billion.
