Aircraft lessor Avolon deploys HID Mobile Access globally

Aircraft leasing company Avolon has implemented HID Mobile Access globally, allowing employees to access its facilities using their smartphones. The solution has been deployed at its offices in Dublin, New York, Florida, and Hong Kong.

Avolon, one of the world's largest aircraft leasing firms, sought a solution that was flexible, could be personalized, and managed remotely. Key requirements included different security clearance levels for various areas, individual clearance management, out-of-hours access, and secure parking for employees and visitors.

HID Global partnered with Irish systems integrator Summit Security Systems Ltd to deploy the HID Mobile Access solution. Mobile IDs are issued to Avolon staff via a dedicated app on their smartphones, facilitating quick and easy access to company premises.

"The scalability of our solution also lays the groundwork for Avolon to easily extend mobile access across more of its facilities."
