Airties Appoints Stephen Howe to Board, Michael Rezek as Chief Business Development Officer
Software company Airties has appointed Stephen Howe, former Bell Canada CTO, to its Board of Directors and Michael Rezek as Chief Business Development Officer, signaling a focus on strategic growth in the connectivity sector.
PARIS – Airties, a global provider of AI-driven software for enhancing internet service provider (ISP) connectivity experiences, announced significant additions to its leadership and board. Stephen Howe, former Chief Technology and Information Officer (CTO) at Bell Canada, has joined the company's Board of Directors. Additionally, Michael Rezek, a seasoned business development leader from the technology sector, has been appointed as the new Chief Business Development Officer.
The appointments are part of Airties' strategy to leverage its AI capabilities to improve broadband operator services. Howe's extensive experience, spanning over 25 years in leading the design, construction, and operation of telecommunications networks including fiber and 5G at Bell Canada, is expected to provide critical strategic guidance. His background includes leading large-scale network deployments and innovations.
Rezek joins Airties from Cisco, where he was instrumental in business development and forging strategic partnerships across various markets. His prior experience also includes significant roles at Accedian, which was acquired by Cisco in 2023, highlighting his ability to drive commercial momentum. Rezek will report directly to Airties CEO Metin Taskin, aiming to deepen value delivery to customers and partners.
Airties' platform is utilized by major global operators to optimize network performance, reduce customer churn, and enhance subscriber satisfaction. CEO Metin Taskin stated the company is at an "exciting juncture" and anticipates the expertise of both Howe and Rezek will be crucial in furthering Airties' growth and market position.
