AITO, a Chinese automotive brand, has announced a new financing program for its M6 SUV model. The initiative allows customers to purchase the vehicle with a 3-year interest-free option, beginning with a down payment of 69,800 yuan. This promotional offer aims to make the AITO M6 more accessible to consumers in the competitive Chinese market.
The financing plan presents two main choices. The first is a three-year interest-free loan, with an annual rate of 0 percent and monthly payments starting from 4,445 yuan. This option requires a minimum down payment of 69,800 yuan. The second option is a five-year loan, where the initial three years are interest-free. For the remaining two years, an annual interest rate of 2.99 percent applies, with monthly payments starting at 2,667 yuan.
The AITO M6, positioned as a "new smart SUV," was initially released in April. The model is notable for its technological features, including a high-resolution LiDAR sensor, which is considered among the best for mass-produced vehicles. In September, AITO introduced two new range-extender versions of the M6, offering enhanced performance and extended range.
The M6 is available in various configurations, including both all-electric and extended-range electric variants. Prices range from 229,800 yuan to 299,800 yuan, depending on the specific model and trim level. This new financing policy is part of AITO's strategy to boost sales and solidify its market presence in China's rapidly growing electric vehicle sector.
