AITO Releases OTA Update with New Features for National Day
AITO's 'National Day' version vehicles have received an OTA update, introducing features like charging station time-of-use pricing display and enhancements to navigation and infotainment.
IT Home reported on September 25 that AITO's 'National Day' version vehicles have undergone a significant OTA (over-the-air) update. The rollout began on the evening of September 24 for various AITO models.
Among the new features are enhancements to the 'Huawei Kunlun Smart Driving ADS 5' system, including the ability to adjust the size of the turn signal image on the central display. The navigation system has gained functionality allowing users to search for stops along the route, nearby, or at the destination. Users can also edit waypoints that have already been added to their route.
The update also introduces new capabilities for the charging experience. Vehicles will now display time-of-use pricing for charging stations, aiding drivers in optimizing their charging. Furthermore, improvements have been made to the group travel experience, including real-time two-way radio. Information for fast charging and service areas has also been updated to show more detailed charging point data.
On the infotainment front, the 'HarmonyOS Cockpit' experience has been refined. New features include the 'Sound Cube' function for audio tuning, the ability to customize vehicle wallpapers via the Super Desktop feature, and a new 'cute pet-Hua Hua' arrow theme for the AR-HUD display. Additionally, a Wi-Fi hotspot function has been added, along with various screen mirroring capabilities such as DLNA and iPhone mirroring.
