AITO, the automotive brand backed by Huawei and Seres, has released preliminary design details regarding the interior of its forthcoming M8 flagship SUV. The vehicle features a comprehensive lighting system consisting of a 17-meter ambient strip and four illuminated cabin islands, paired with a quilted aesthetic.
The M8 is scheduled for market entry on November 13, with pre-sales starting at 389,800 yuan. The vehicle will incorporate Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving system and will be available in both extended-range (EREV) and pure electric configurations, with five- and six-seat layout options.
Technical specifications vary by trim, with higher-tier models such as the Ultra including 800V platform architecture, rear-wheel steering, and specialized rear entertainment screens. The model line-up is intended to compete in the luxury electric vehicle sector by integrating comprehensive sensor arrays and high-capacity battery options.
