AITO schedules launch of updated M8 SUV for November 13
AITO has unveiled key specifications for its refreshed M8 model ahead of the official market launch. The SUV features interior upgrades and advanced cabin technology integrated with Huawei systems.
AITO, operating under the Huawei-backed Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance, has confirmed that the updated M8 SUV will officially launch on November 13. Pre-sales for the vehicle began in late September, with pricing starting at 389,800 yuan.
The updated model introduces significant interior modifications, including a triple-seat zero-gravity configuration and enhanced ergonomic seating with deep-tissue massage capabilities. Cabin functionality is further expanded by a new refrigeration unit capable of cooling to -18°C, alongside specialized eye-protection lighting systems designed to improve passenger comfort during travel.
Technically, the M8 retains an 800V architecture and incorporates the latest Huawei ADS 5 intelligent driving system. The powertrain options include an all-electric model with an 830km range and an extended-range version reaching a 1,435km combined range, reflecting the brand’s focus on high-capacity electric mobility solutions.
