Aker BP Acquires Stakes in Losgann/Froskelår and Slagugle Discoveries
Aker BP has agreed to acquire interests in the Losgann/Froskelår and Slagugle discoveries on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, strengthening its position near existing infrastructure.

Aker BP has expanded its presence on the Norwegian Continental Shelf through two separate acquisitions, bolstering its holdings in the Losgann/Froskelår and Slagugle discoveries.
In the North Sea, Aker BP will acquire Apache's interest in the Losgann/Froskelår discovery. This asset is located near the Alvheim production area, aligning with the company's strategy to leverage existing infrastructure.
Further north, in the Norwegian Sea, Aker BP is set to acquire operatorship and a majority interest in the Slagugle area. This discovery is situated close to the Skarv field, presenting opportunities for operational synergies.
These transactions are part of Aker BP's ongoing efforts to increase production and optimize its portfolio by acquiring and developing assets in close proximity to its established infrastructure on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
