Aker BP demonstrated strong operational performance and significant progress across its development projects in the second quarter of 2026. The company reported operating cash flow of USD 3.1 billion and a net profit of USD 521 million, bolstered by higher realized oil prices.

Net production averaged 383.6 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day, leading the company to narrow its full-year production guidance to 380–400 mboepd. Major projects, including Yggdrasil and Valhall PWP–Fenris, continued their progress towards a planned 2027 start-up. The Hugin B topside for Yggdrasil was installed offshore in July.

Furthermore, Aker BP established a strategic collaboration with Equinor, involving transactions in the Ringvei Vest, Yggdrasil, and Wisting areas on the Norwegian continental shelf. This aims to improve portfolio alignment and foster long-term value creation.

The company maintained a robust financial position with USD 6.0 billion in available liquidity and declared a quarterly dividend of USD 0.6615 per share. CEO Karl Johnny Hersvik highlighted the company's focus on safe operations, efficiency, and cost management.
