Aker BP has started production from its Skarv Satellites project in the Norwegian Sea. The development includes the Alve Nord, Idun Nord, and Ørn fields, which contain an estimated 120 million barrels of oil equivalent in recoverable resources.
The project's production startup occurred one year earlier than originally planned. This efficient execution is expected to enhance value creation by increasing flexibility and extending the operational life of the infrastructure surrounding the Skarv field.
The Alve Nord, Idun Nord, and Ørn fields are situated near the Skarv field in the northern Norwegian Sea. Their development aims to leverage existing production infrastructure.
