Aker Solutions announced its financial results for the second quarter and first half of 2026, with revenue for the quarter reaching NOK 13.1 billion. The company reported an EBITDA of NOK 1.2 billion, resulting in an EBITDA margin of 9.2 percent. Excluding net profit from the SLB OneSubsea joint venture, the underlying EBITDA margin was 7.9 percent.

For the full year 2026, Aker Solutions now anticipates revenue to be in the range of NOK 50 billion to NOK 55 billion. The expected underlying EBITDA margin, excluding the impact of SLB OneSubsea, is projected to be around 7.5 percent. Order intake for the second quarter amounted to NOK 9.9 billion, bringing the total order backlog to NOK 77.2 billion at the end of the period. Key orders included an HVDC substructure, electromechanical equipment for the Tussa II hydropower plant, and a long-term agreement with Cenovus Energy.

CEO Kjetel Digre stated that the company is proud of the project milestones achieved and significant deliveries made, particularly to Aker BP. He also highlighted the value of improvement initiatives undertaken with customers to enhance competitiveness and create new opportunities.

The company's financial position remains robust, with a net cash position of NOK 4.3 billion. During the quarter, Aker Solutions distributed NOK 4.2 billion in dividends to its shareholders. The company expects its share of profit from SLB OneSubsea, in which it holds a 20% stake, to increase in the latter half of 2026.
