Akeso Doses First Patient in Phase II Study of Bispecific ADC Combined With Ivonescimab for Breast Cancer
Akeso, Inc. has initiated a Phase II clinical study evaluating its TROP2/Nectin-4 bispecific antibody-drug conjugate (AK146D1) in combination with ivonescimab in breast cancer patients.

Hong Kong-based Akeso, Inc. announced the first patient has been dosed in a Phase II clinical study investigating its internally developed AK146D1, a TROP2/Nectin-4 bispecific antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), in combination with ivonescimab.
The study (AK146D1-202) is evaluating the combination therapy in patients with breast cancer. AK146D1 is designed to target two cancer cell surface proteins, TROP2 and Nectin-4, delivering a cytotoxic payload directly to tumor cells.
This trial is part of Akeso's broader IO2.0 + ADC2.0 strategy, aiming to combine immunotherapy and ADCs for cancer treatment. The company anticipates this approach may offer new therapeutic options for patients with previously treated or refractory disease.
