akf Bank Adds Mobility Protection to Auto Financing Products
German lender akf Bank has introduced akf mobilschutz, a new insurance product designed to ensure customer mobility in cases of accident, illness, or vehicle breakdown.

Wuppertal. akf Bank has expanded its product portfolio with the introduction of akf mobilschutz, a new insurance offering within its auto financing division. The product aims to maintain customer mobility in the event of accidents, illness, or vehicle failure.
The new protection, developed in collaboration with insurer CreditLife, offers customers and dealers a transparent way to secure their mobility related to financed vehicles. According to Rainer Bickel, Head of Automotive Business at akf Bank, the coverage provides a daily allowance when the driver is unable to drive, supported by medical certification. This allowance is set at 125 euros per day for the first two days and 250 euros per day for the subsequent three days. The product also covers costs for smart repairs up to 300 euros annually.
Additionally, akf mobilschutz includes a workshop bonus. For repairs exceeding 3,000 euros, the insurance covers 10 percent of the invoice amount, capped at 500 euros per claim per year. The company states that this addition underscores its commitment to providing reliable mobility solutions for its customers, particularly during challenging life circumstances. akf Bank emphasizes that the product features clear contract terms and integrates easily with existing financing agreements.
