Aktion Deutschland Hilft terminates membership of Islamic Relief Deutschland

Bonn, Germany – The alliance of aid organizations Aktion Deutschland Hilft announced on June 2, 2026, that its general assembly has voted to terminate the membership of Islamic Relief Deutschland e.V. The decision was made after a statutory review process and is based on the alliance's established standards and code of conduct.

The membership of Islamic Relief Deutschland had been suspended since 2020, prior to the initiation of the recently concluded review. Aktion Deutschland Hilft stated that the decision is solely based on the alliance's membership criteria and does not reflect an assessment of the organization's past humanitarian work.
