Aktion Deutschland Hilft e.V. is attending the COP30 global climate conference in Belém, Brazil, to represent communities most affected by climate change in the Global South.

The COP30 global climate conference commenced in Belém, Brazil, on November 10, 2025. Aktion Deutschland Hilft e.V. is present to advocate for communities in the Global South disproportionately impacted by the climate crisis.
The organization aims to contribute practical insights from local communities to global climate policy discussions. Key themes include community-led climate adaptation, securing reliable financing, protecting land and human rights, and establishing ambitious climate targets. ADRA Deutschland e.V. will co-organize a panel titled "Turning targets into action: climate-resilient food and agriculture under the GGA" on November 19, focusing on the impacts of climate change on agriculture, food production, and water supply, particularly for vulnerable groups.
Discussions will explore practical tools for measurable progress in food security and adaptation, the role of civil society in translating funding and policies into action, and how climate finance can achieve sustainable outcomes aligned with global adaptation goals. The organization emphasizes the importance of local knowledge and sustainable agricultural practices for climate adaptation.
ADRA Deutschland e.V. highlights the need for rapid, transparent, and publicly accessible "Loss & Damage" fund for local actors and civil society to enable protection and future prospects in threatened regions. The organization also calls for marginalized groups, indigenous communities, and small delegations to gain access to financing and policy processes. Aktion Deutschland Hilft is also collecting donations for global emergency aid.
