Alan Wake 2 Game Adds AMD FSR 4 Support

Remedy Entertainment has released update 1.2.10 for its game Alan Wake 2, which now includes support for AMD's FidelityFX Super Resolution 4 (FSR 4) technology. FSR 4 utilizes machine learning to enhance graphical fidelity and optimize game performance by reconstructing high-quality images from lower resolutions.

The update enables players with compatible GPUs to leverage FSR 4's advanced reconstruction capabilities, which aim to reduce artifacts and motion blur common in previous iterations. Additionally, the patch introduces support for AMD's FSR Frame Generation, further boosting visual smoothness on supported hardware.

Alan Wake 2 was originally released in October 2023 and has since surpassed 3 million units in sales. This latest technical enhancement is expected to improve the player experience by offering enhanced visual quality and smoother gameplay for users with compatible systems.
