Alfa Laval reports 36 percent growth in third-quarter orders
Alfa Laval recorded an order intake of SEK 23.2 billion for the third quarter of 2026, marking a 36 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

Swedish industrial manufacturer Alfa Laval reported significant order growth in its third-quarter interim report for 2026. Total order intake reached SEK 23.2 billion, up from SEK 17.1 billion in the third quarter of 2025. When adjusted for currency fluctuations and acquisitions, the organic growth remained robust at 33 percent.
Net sales for the period rose 8 percent to SEK 18.6 billion, compared to SEK 17.2 billion in the prior year. Organic sales growth accounted for 6 percent of this total. The company’s adjusted EBITA also showed a positive trend, reflecting broader industrial demand across its core segments.
The increase in order intake indicates sustained market demand for the firm's heat transfer, separation, and fluid handling equipment. The figures suggest a recovery in capital-intensive sectors that utilize the company’s technology stack, contrasting with previous periods of economic uncertainty in the industrial sector.
