Algo Grande Begins Earthworks in Preparation for Phase II Drill Program in Mexico

Algo Grande Copper Corp. has begun site preparation and earthworks for its Phase II drill program at the Adelita Project in Sonora, Mexico. The company has engaged Major Drilling Group International Inc. to execute an approximately 8,000-meter drilling campaign.

The initial focus is on the Cerro Grande skarn target area, where approximately 30 drill pads are being prepared. Activities include rehabilitating existing access roads and developing new routes to support efficient mobilization of drilling equipment. Additional high-priority targets, including Cerro Potrero South and Las Trancas, are also being readied for exploration.

Alongside drilling preparations, Algo Grande is advancing exploration activities at Adelita. A property-wide LiDAR survey and a district-scale geochemical sampling program have been completed or are nearing completion. A drone magnetic survey is approximately 60% complete and is expected to resume shortly. These datasets are intended to support a highly targeted Phase II drill program, scheduled to commence in May.

The company also announced the grant of 1,760,000 incentive stock options and 2,050,000 restricted share units (RSUs) to directors, officers, employees, and consultants. The options have an exercise price of $0.65 and a three-year term, with vesting over one year. RSUs vest one year from the grant date. Both grants are subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.
