Algo Grande Copper Begins Phase II Drilling at Adelita Project
Algo Grande Copper has commenced its Phase II, 8,000-meter drilling program at the Adelita Project in Sonora, Mexico, aiming to expand the Cerro Grande copper discovery.

Algo Grande Copper has initiated the second phase of its drilling program at the 100%-owned Adelita copper, silver, and gold project located in Sonora, Mexico. The company announced that drilling commenced on June 9, 2026.
The first hole of the program targets the expansion of the Cerro Grande skarn discovery to the north of the area identified in the previous drill phase. The objective is to extend it another 100 meters northward to a planned depth of 500 meters. Subsequent holes will aim to expand the discovery south and northwest along a 2.5-kilometer corridor.
The overall 8,000-meter program includes, in addition to the expansion of Cerro Grande, initial drilling at the Cerro Potrero South skarn and Las Trancas epithermal targets. The company utilizes magnetic surveys, soil geochemistry, and geological mapping to define the target areas.
The Adelita project is situated within the Arizona-Sonora copper belt and spans 5,895 hectares. The company believes its deposits show continuity and potential connection to a deeper porphyry system. The company will continue to provide updates as drilling progresses.
