Algo Grande Copper confirms copper-silver-gold mineralization in second zone
Algo Grande Copper has confirmed 68.43 metres of copper-silver-gold mineralization across two zones in drill hole AG-CG-PH2-002. A newly identified lower zone extends for 38.20 metres.

Algo Grande Copper has reported full assay results from drill hole AG-CG-PH2-002 at the Cerro Grande skarn discovery in Sonora, Mexico. The results confirm 68.43 metres of copper-silver-gold mineralization across two distinct zones, yielding a combined mineralized interval averaging 1.2% CuEq (copper equivalent) at an assumed 80% metallurgical recovery.
The newly reported lower zone spans 38.20 metres with a grade of 1.0% CuEq, starting at a depth of 243.80 metres. This new discovery lies approximately 67 metres below the previously reported upper zone, which measured 30.23 metres grading 1.5% CuEq. Drill hole AG-CG-PH2-002 now demonstrates a multi-horizon skarn system at Cerro Grande.
The drill hole also successfully identified the base of the mineralized limestone-skarn package at a depth of 364 metres, where it meets unmineralized granodiorite. This refines the geological model for the broader Cerro Grande corridor and aids in targeting future exploration efforts.
Algo Grande Copper is focused on fast-tracking its copper discoveries within the Adelita project. The company states the deposit remains open along strike, up-dip, and at depth, indicating potential for further expansion. The complete assay results confirm the drill hole's objectives in delineating the vertical extent and continuity of the mineralization.
