Algo Grande Copper Core Tests Show Mineralized Skarn Properties

Algo Grande Copper has released new findings from its Adelita copper project in Sonora, Mexico. Laboratory testing on 18 drill core samples indicates that mineralized skarn at Cerro Grande has an average density of 3.76 g/cm³, significantly denser than host rocks with densities below 2.92 g/cm³.

Furthermore, the mineralized skarn exhibits a considerably higher chargeability, measuring between 74 to 128 ms, compared to 3 to 8 ms for non-mineralized skarn. These results have prompted the company to commence a ground gravity survey starting October 22, 2026.

The survey will cover approximately 1,296 stations across the Mezquital, Cerro Grande, Cerro Potrero, and Las Trancas areas. The data will be integrated with the company's existing magnetic, induced polarization (IP), and magnetotelluric surveys, as well as drilling data. The objective is to test identified targets along a seven-kilometer corridor and to generate new potential prospects.

Enrico Gay, CEO of Algo Grande Copper, stated that by combining magnetic, gravity, and IP surveys, the company aims to de-risk targets along the corridor that display magnetic signatures comparable to the Cerro Grande skarn. He also noted that drill hole AG-CG-PH2-003 has intersected new skarn mineralization in a separate structure, supporting the strategy of following geophysical anomalies.
