Algo Grande Copper Finalizes Phase II Drill Targets in Mexico
Algo Grande Copper Corp. has finalized drill targets for its Adelita project in Sonora, Mexico, identifying a 2.5-kilometer prospective corridor. The company will commence an 8,000-meter drill program in June.

Algo Grande Copper Corp. announced the finalization of drill targets for its Phase II drill program at the Adelita project in Sonora, Mexico. The company is set to begin an 8,000-meter diamond drill program in June 2026, marking its most extensive drilling initiative at the project to date.
The program aims to expand the Cerro Grande skarn discovery and test new targets, including Cerro Potrero South and Las Trancas. Recent high-definition magnetic and LiDAR surveys have expanded the known prospective lithological-magnetic corridor at Cerro Grande from approximately 300 meters to 2.5 kilometers.
The drilling campaign will be managed by Major Drilling Group International Inc., with mobilization scheduled for June 5, 2026. This program is expected to double the company's historical drilling efforts in the Adelita region. Algo Grande Copper also scheduled an investor webinar for May 29, 2026, to discuss the survey results and drill targeting.
Approximately 7,200 meters of drilling are planned for Cerro Grande across 15 holes, focusing on expanding the identified high-grade skarn mineralization. At Cerro Potrero South, the first-ever diamond drilling will take place over 300 meters in three holes, targeting a previously identified 300-meter mineralized zone. The Las Trancas target will also be tested in the upcoming program.
