Algo Grande Copper identifies new skarn zone at Adelita project
Algo Grande Copper has reported new drilling results from its Adelita project in Mexico, including the identification of a new gold-rich skarn deposit.

Algo Grande Copper has released assay results from its Adelita copper project in Sonora, Mexico. Drilling of hole AG-CG-PH2-003 resulted in the identification of the Margarita Skarn, a deposit characterized by higher gold content compared to previously identified mineralization at the site. The new zone is located approximately 250 meters from the project's initial phase drill intercepts.
The drilling program also confirmed an expansion of the Cerro Grande 2 zone and extended mineralization within the Cerro Grande 3 zone to a vertical depth of roughly 485 meters. The combined drilling intervals from the hole totaled 139.81 meters with an average copper-equivalent grade of 1.3 percent.
João Rocha, Vice President of Exploration, stated that the Margarita discovery supports the company's geological model, which attributes mineralization control to fault structures within the limestone corridor. The findings suggest the potential for further skarn bodies across the property, prompting continued exploration.
