Algo Grande Copper Receives BB Rating in First ESG Assessment
Algo Grande Copper has received a BB rating in its first Digbee ESG assessment, covering both the company and its Adelita project in Mexico.

Algo Grande Copper Corp. has achieved a BB rating in its initial Digbee ESG assessment, which evaluated the company and its 100%-owned Adelita Project in Sonora, Mexico. The assessment recognized a strong governance foundation, dedicated ESG resources, and proactive risk management efforts.
The company allocated approximately 7% of its 2026 drilling budget to sustainability initiatives. These investments focused on enhancing governance structures, community engagement, and environmental management practices to mitigate risks and build trust.
Enrico Gay, CEO of Algo Grande Copper, stated that the project's long-term value is built on both geological and socio-environmental foundations. He noted that the BB rating reflects the team's discipline from the project's outset and provides clear KPIs for accountability.
Digbee ESG, an independent sustainability platform for the mining industry, assessed Algo Grande against standardized criteria. The company's early-stage rating suggests it has established foundational elements expected of responsible mineral developers.
