AlgoLaser Launches DIY KIT MK3 Laser Engraver
AlgoLaser has introduced its new DIY KIT MK3 laser engraver, aiming to simplify and expedite the laser engraving process for users.
AlgoLaser, a company specializing in smart laser engraving technology, has released its latest desktop laser engraver, the DIY KIT MK3. The company states the device is designed to address previous complexities in assembly and operation.
The new model arrives 95% pre-assembled, requiring a reported five steps for completion in under 10 minutes. It features the proprietary AlgoOS operating system, enabling standalone operation via an HD touchscreen. The system includes features such as smart parameter recommendations and pre-loaded projects to facilitate user initiation.
The DIY KIT MK3 offers new laser module options, including 8W, 15W, and 20W, which the company claims provide up to a 60% power increase over previous models. The device reportedly supports high engraving speeds of up to 15,000 mm/min, and its 400x400mm work area accommodates larger engraving projects.
Designed with a modular architecture, the engraver supports easy upgrades for laser modules and integration with accessories like rotary attachments. The machine is positioned for both hobbyist and small-scale production use, with enhanced safety features including an optional enclosure and multiple monitoring systems.
The DIY KIT MK3 is now available for pre-order on the company's website, with a global launch on other platforms scheduled for August 1.
