Ali YunOS and Dangbei Network Deepen Cooperation for TV Apps
AliyunOS and Dangbei Network have signed a cooperation agreement to promote the development of TV app centers, developer services, and application monetization.
Hangzhou, China – AliyunOS, Alibaba Group's intelligent operating system, and Dangbei Network have entered into a comprehensive cooperation agreement. The partnership focuses on developing TV application centers, providing value-added services for developers, and monetizing applications on the AliyunOS platform.
The collaboration aims to jointly advance the development of the OTT TV industry. AliyunOS is integrated into various smart devices, including TVs, set-top boxes, and smartphones, and powers devices from manufacturers like Haier, Sharp, and Konka.
Dangbei Market operates as an application store for smart TVs and TV boxes, holding official partnerships with hardware manufacturers such as Konka and Haier. According to Aowei Cloud data from 2017, Dangbei Market ranked first among third-party smart TV app stores with 10 million monthly active terminals.
This partnership is expected to expand reach to home users and provide diverse distribution channels for TV app developers. Both companies also intend to jointly promote advertising for TV applications and offer value-added services to increase developer revenue.
