Alibaba Cloud Deploys M890 AI Supernode in China
Alibaba Cloud has launched its M890 AI supernode service in China, with Ulanqab as the first deployment region. Enterprise clients can now access high-speed computing units via the cloud without building their own data centers.

Alibaba Cloud's Lingjun Zhenwu M890 supernode instance is now operational in China, with Ulanqab designated as its initial deployment region. This service allows enterprise customers to provision 64-card, high-speed-interconnect computing units through the cloud, eliminating the need for in-house data center construction.
The instance is specifically engineered to handle inference for Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) models, supporting up to 10 trillion parameters. This capability is crucial for running complex, large-scale artificial intelligence applications.
Companies such as Kimi K3 and Qwen3.8-Max are already utilizing the M890 instance to deliver their AI services. The deployment signifies a step towards making advanced AI infrastructure more accessible to businesses in China.
Alibaba Cloud's move aims to support the growing demand for AI processing power and facilitate the broader adoption of sophisticated AI models across various industries within the region.
