In recent third-party rankings from Arena, Alibaba's Qwen models secured the second position, trailing only Anthropic’s Claude series, underscoring the model's competitive performance in the AI landscape.
The Qwen3.8 API is now accessible through the Qwen AI platform. Furthermore, the model has been integrated into Alibaba’s recently released AI agent product, known as Qwen Office.
Alibaba is also expected to release Qwen3.8-Max and the Qwen3.8-27B model as open-source next week, further contributing to the AI research community.
