The integration received the necessary approval from China's Cyberspace Administration, which listed Apple's AI services among authorized providers, including domestic competitors like Huawei.
This partnership allows Apple users in China to access Qwen's capabilities for tasks such as understanding and generating text and images directly, without needing to switch between separate applications. This feature aligns with Apple's broader strategy to enhance user experience through integrated AI features on its devices.
