Alibaba's QwenWork Adds Qwen3.8-Flash and Standard Mode

Alibaba’s QwenWork service has launched Qwen3.8-Flash, featuring a new Standard mode accessible to all users. This update introduces dual modes, Standard and Advanced, catering to different levels of office task requirements.

The Standard mode is designed to handle approximately 95% of daily office tasks, according to Qwen's assessment, while the Advanced mode is reserved for more complex operations. In company-cited tests, the new Standard mode reportedly doubled the generation speed for single tasks and reduced token consumption by an average of 75%.

This enhancement aims to improve efficiency and accessibility for AI-driven office tools. QwenWork's development reflects Alibaba's ongoing strategy to integrate artificial intelligence into business productivity solutions.
