Alight and ITP Aero commission behind-the-meter solar installation at UK plant

Solar developer Alight has commissioned a 1.9 megawatt peak (MWp) behind-the-meter rooftop solar installation at ITP Aero’s manufacturing site in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom. The project will supply the facility with renewable electricity under a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA).

The rooftop solar project at ITP Aero, a global leader in aerospace propulsion, is part of Alight’s expanding UK portfolio of over 50 MWp for commercial and industrial customers. The solar asset at the Hucknall plant is now fully operational and delivering clean power directly to the site.
