All Access Andy Garcia to Film at Mennonite Village on Aging and Community
An upcoming television segment will examine how connections and resident-led activities shape life within a senior living community in Oregon.

Mennonite Village in Albany, Oregon, will serve as the filming location for an upcoming educational segment on the public television series "All Access with Andy Garcia" on October 8, 2026. The production will focus on the importance of community for aging individuals, exploring how older adults form meaningful relationships, engage in shared activities, and find support as their needs evolve.
The segment will highlight how community life at Mennonite Village is fostered through both planned initiatives and spontaneous interactions. Residents often initiate gatherings based on shared interests, while staff provide programs and spaces designed to facilitate connections. The production aims to showcase both the everyday friendships that develop on campus and the more structured opportunities for community participation.
Founded in 1947, Mennonite Village has grown from a small home for 24 residents to a comprehensive continuing care retirement community. As families increasingly consider future living arrangements, the segment will delve into how opportunities for friendship and belonging can enhance daily life at every stage of aging.
"As we age, the importance of community becomes even more meaningful. We all need a place where we feel connected, supported, and valued. Community reminds us that we are never meant to walk through life alone. It is through our relationships, shared experiences, and care for one another that we find purpose, belonging, and joy at every stage of life," said Diane Hood, CEO of Mennonite Village.
