Allianz Trade Appoints Rodrigo Jimenez as Regional CEO for Asia Pacific

Allianz Trade has named Rodrigo Jimenez as the new Regional CEO for its Asia Pacific operations. Jimenez will assume the role on October 1, 2025, taking over from Paul Flanagan, who is retiring following a 34-year tenure with the trade credit insurance provider.

Jimenez will undergo a three-month transition period starting July 1, 2025. He joined Allianz Trade in Brazil as CEO in 2014 and most recently served as Regional Commercial Director for Northern Europe. In that capacity, he focused on developing new distribution channels and enhancing synergies with the risk department, contributing to new business growth and retention.

His experience includes driving digital transformation initiatives and leading key projects in the Northern Europe region. Jimenez holds an MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral and a degree in Economics from the University of São Paulo. The appointment is subject to regulatory approvals.

Jimenez expressed enthusiasm for the growth potential in the Asia Pacific region and its planned expansion into Vietnam. He aims to build on the foundation laid by Flanagan, focusing on customer experience and operational excellence to further solidify the company's leadership position.
